This sympathetic self-description is how the Norwegian Girl in Red describes herself. The first chapter, in which Marie Ulven from Horten makes music as Girl in Red for the first year and a half, reads almost like a fantasy novel. The Girl in Red released her first songs, recorded in her own four walls, on her debut EP "chapter 1" at the end of 2018. Since then, she has gained many fans for her honest and direct lyrics about same-sex sexuality, summer depression, and the thoughts of a 20-year-old girl. After a sold-out European tour, several American tours, as well as articles in media outlets such as the New York Times, Complex and Stern, the girl in red is now about to take the next big step: her two EPs together on a limited vinyl edition called "beginnings"!
