Selected collection in a new mix With their first three albums "Gentle Giant", "Acquiring The Taste" and "Three Friends", Gentle Giant released three stylistically defining works of progressive rock in the early 70s. In 2017, star producer, sound engineer and progressive rock icon Steven Wilson rededicated himself to recording: "Three Piece Suite" is the title of the result of his work. However, as many of the original recordings were lost, only nine tracks in total from the three albums made it onto the new record, namely "Giant", "Nothing At All" and "Why Not" from the debut album "Pantagruel's Nativity", "The House, The Street, The Room" from the second LP's album, as well as "Acquiring The Taste" and "Schooldays", "Peel The Paint", "Mr. Class And Quality" and "Three Friends" from the third album. All tracks are now available in a brand new 5.1 stereo mix thanks to Wilson. "Freedom's Child" was recorded during the early sessions with legendary producer Tony Visconti (David Bowie) and has never been released. A 7" edit of "Nothing At All" is also available. The whole thing is accompanied by a booklet with detailed notes about the making of the album by journalist Anil Prasad.
