British Faithless have been one of the most famous and successful dance bands in the world since their formation more than 15 years ago. Faithless have understood like few other formations how to always bring the dance and rave culture of the last two decades into the present day and deliver their own trademarks: anthemic production, Maxi Jazz's unique vocals and songs that perfectly bridge the gap between radio and club. Songs like "Insomnia" and "God Is A DJ" are familiar to anyone who has ever stood on a club dance floor or attended a major alternative open air. For a decade and a half, Faithless have said goodbye to their fans. With their last concert on April 8, 2011 in London, the band was about to become history. It was this last show in front of a completely sold out Brixton Academy that was live streamed in many cinemas around the world at the time, showing why Faithless still represent the Olympus of the international dance scene, so to speak. One look at the track list and it's clear. Everything is on the CD and DVD. Review of "A dance band, but without the embarrassing ass grabbing. Supremely successful, but never heavy-handed or even too flashy. Spiritually uplifting, multicultural and gendered, but without the risk of devolving into a GAP TV commercial.
