Swedish masters of dark melodic metal EVERGREY return with their eleventh album - hard, dark and deep as the Atlantic The acclaimed Swedish masters of dark melodic metal EVERGREY will release their new studio album "The Atlantic" on January 25, 2019. The band has made it a point to follow up their highly successful 2016 album "The Storm Within" (high chart positions in several countries). As with previous albums such as "Hymns For The Broken" and "The Storm Within", EVERGREY have once again collaborated with Jacob Hansen, who was responsible for mixing and mastering "The Atlantic". Tom S. Englund from EVERGREY (Gothenburg, October 16). This is album number 11! Isn't that sick? Besides, it's the third concept album, which may have reached its goal, or at least its conclusion. Maybe some of you expected or anticipated this? In order to complete this album, we had to fight our way not only through huge private obstacles, but also through an extremely complicated break-in at our headquarters/studio. So while it was definitely not easy or painless, at the same time writing this album was rewarding in a new way and our work was bathed in the colors of honesty and integrity this time around. This album is our heaviest and darkest, perhaps our most diverse. It's everything we wanted to compose, and the lyrics come straight from a place of unprecedented clarity and lucidity. As of yesterday, we've finally reached new ground. We can't wait to share this journey with you and dive into our world, our depths and the waters of the Atlantic!"
