Rollo from Faithless has a little sister named Dido. She sang on the Faithless album "Sunday 8 p.m." and dreamed of a CD of her own songs. In 1999, she got the chance of a lifetime: Arista Records released the LP "No Angel" and lo and behold - English youth loved the warm sound of her voice, which critics were happy to classify as "somewhere between Sarah McLaghlan and Sinead O'Connor". Unfortunately, this comparison is misleading, as Dido's unique songs go their own way, subtly defying pigeonholing. Dido was an instant success on both sides of the Atlantic, topping all the charts. "No Angel" has long been an evergreen, one of the seminal albums of the last decade. One more question: Why does he call himself Dido? Her real name is Florian Cloud De Bounevialle Armstrong...
