On "Empath" Devin was assisted by former Frank Zappa student Mike Keneally as musical director, Morgan Agren (Mats And Morgan, Frank Zappa, Frederik Thorendal), Anup Sastry (Monuments, Periphery), Samus Paulicelli (Decrepit Birth, Abigail Williams), Nathan Navarro, Elliot Desagnes, Steve Vai, Chad Kroeger, Anneke Van Giersbergen, Ché Aiee Dorval, Ryan Dhale, as well as the Elektra Women's Chorus.
