Depeche Mode present new album Depeche Mode are back. In 2017, the British synth rock legends will unveil their eagerly awaited new album. "Spirit" is the title of the trio's 14th album, the follow-up to 2013's "Delta Machine". Already the first single "Where's The Revolution" shows: Depeche Mode remain musically true to themselves. And so the sound of "Spirit" is a familiar symbiosis of synth pop and rock, alternative and electro. Guitar and drums meet synths and electronic soundscapes. Content-wise, however, Depeche Mode 2017 is more socio-political than it has been in a long time, and therefore quite topical, for example when Dave Gahan asks his listeners about the lack of revolution. Gahan, Martin Gore and Andrew Fletcher recorded a total of twelve new songs for "Spirit", and for the first time in their career they collaborated with star producer and Simian Mobile Disco founder James Ford, who has worked with Florence & The Machine, Arctic Monkeys, Foals and Klaxons, to name a few. In addition to the standard CD and 180g double LP version, "Spirit" is also available as a double CD.
