Delta Machine is the thirteenth studio album by English electronic music group Depeche Mode , released on 22 March 2013 by Columbia Records. It was produced by Ben Hillier and mixed by Flood. The album debuted at number two in the United Kingdom and number six on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 31,000 copies in its first week. It was the band's first album to reach the top ten of the Billboard 200 since Playing the Angel (2005). The album was well received by music critics, who praised it for its dark and intense sound. The album was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 56th Grammy Awards.
