The picture disc series finally continues After the 40th anniversary picture disc of "Heroes" was released in September, another David Bowie reissue on illustrated vinyl followed in January 2018: the 40th anniversary picture disc of "Beauty And The Beast". The song "Beauty And The Beast" also comes from the "Heroes" album, which was released in 1977 and was chosen as the second single. On the occasion of its 40th birthday, this classic is being re-released on a limited 7" picture disc. In addition to the remastered version of "Beauty And The Beast", side AA of the disc contains a previously unreleased live version of "Blackout", recorded on 16 May 1978 at the Deutschlandhalle in Berlin. The images used on the disc were taken by photographer Masayoshi Sukita in April 1977 in Japan (side A) and in May 1978 at Madison Square Garden in New York (side AA). Bowie fans, record lovers and collectors be warned: on the occasion of the 40th birthday of "Beauty And The Beast", a limited edition picture disc is now available.
