Cypress Hill is an American hip hop group from South Gate, California. The first American hip hop group to go platinum and multi-platinum and sell 18 million albums worldwide. They are considered the creators of 90s rap and hip hop on the West Coast and their first four albums received critical acclaim. The band is also considered a major advocate for the legalization of marijuana in the States. Los Grandes Éxitos en Español is a collection of Cypress Hill's greatest hits in Spanish. The album has been certified platinum by the RIAA. With the exception of the unreleased final track and the Spanish tracks "Latin Lingo" and "Tres Equis", which were released on Cypress Hill, the album is actually a cover version of old Cypress Hill songs with Spanish lyrics.
