Camouflage are one of the few German bands that have been successful at home and especially abroad since the mid-80s. With the songs "The Great Commandment" (1987) and "Love Is A Shield" (1989) the trio scored worldwide hits. After the fourth album, a period of experimentation began. This phase culminated in 1995's "Spice Crackers" - the most daring and interesting thing Camouflage ever did. Aside from a few electropop tracks, there are hypnotic, spherical, motorik tracks that already hint at what will happen on the bonus CD. The bonus CD contains 14 tracks of mostly unreleased material: real gems of instrumental electronic music of the 90s (dub techno, downbeat, electronica, intelligent dance music, ambient) combined with memories of the golden age of German electronic music, the 70s. The re-release of the 1995 album on 2 CDs is the most typical work of the world-famous German electropop group. In particular, the bonus CD (11 previously unreleased tracks) reveals the hypnotic, psychedelic talent of Camouflage. "Spice Crackers" reflects the best of 90s electronica (dub techno, downbeat, electronica, intelligent dance music, ambient) and evokes memories of the golden age of German electronic music, the 70s.
