Bruce Springsteen's Greatest Hits is a compilation album released in 1995. It is a collection of Springsteen's greatest hits from his first four albums and two new songs. The album has been certified platinum fifteen times by the RIAA, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time. The first single from the album, "Streets of Philadelphia", was released in 1994 and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. The song was written for the 1993 film Philadelphia, which starred Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington. The album's second single, "Dead Man Walking", was released in 1995 and was also written for the film Philadelphia. The album's third single, "Human Touch", was released in 1992 and was the lead single from Springsteen's album of the same name. The album's fourth single, "I'm on Fire", was released in 1985 and was the lead single from Springsteen's album Born in the U.S.A. The album's fifth and final single, "Glory Days", was released in 1985 and was the lead single from Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A. album.
