The album was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album received universally positive reviews from music critics. Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic awarded the album four stars out of five, calling it "a return to the infectious pop-punk that made Blink-182 one of the most popular bands of the 1990s". The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album.
