The title track "Fever" announces Balthazar's entry into new musical realms: honest, playful and with a carefree devotion to detail, driven by two exceptional songwriters, Jinte Deprez and Maarten Devolder, who once again prove their ability to add edge to urgent melodies and transform them into expressive hooks. After both frontmen have lived out their creativity in solo projects, what can now be heard together as Balthazar and on "Fever" is the band's most consistent album to date. Devoldere and Deprez mix the ingredients for the best of all their musical worlds, drawing on experience from both solo projects and Balthazar's previous three albums ("Applause" (2010), "Rats" (2012), "Thin Walls" (2015)), which have sold an impressive 250,000 units in Europe.
