In 2020, the Danish singer, musician, composer and producer will return with a new album: 'Myopia' will be released by Deutsche Grammophon. And the first single "Island Of Doom" already proves it: Obel's appetite for experimentation and her wealth of facets are as great as ever. On "Myopia", spare piano melodies meet intricate sound structures, singer-songwriter pop meets classical music. Added to this is the singer's fragile but present voice. And to bring it all to perfection, she ordered creative isolation in her home studio in Berlin, where she experimented with new recording techniques, sounds and instruments.
