It spawned three big hits, "Rag Doll", "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)" and "Angel", and helped Permanent Vacation achieve the band's biggest success in a decade. Permanent Vacation sold over five million copies in the US and was the first Aerosmith album to go gold (100,000 units) in the UK. Good Times review No. 2/02: "Steven Tyler and Joe Perry and their collaborators managed to create sonic massiveness, experiment with horns and build a solid bridge between rock and pop. Aerosmith have reached their zenith."
